"Doing Our Best to Ensure Safe Tap Water Supply"
On the 6th, Sancheong-gun, Gyeongnam announced that Deputy Governor Jeong Young-cheol conducted an on-site inspection of major water purification plants.
Deputy Governor Jeong visited Sancheong Saengcho Integrated Water Purification Plant, Sanseong Water Purification Plant, Sicheon Water Purification Plant, and the Sicheon Water Purification Plant expansion project site, inspecting the operating facilities and the central control room to check the water supply system and equipment.
Jeong Young-cheol, Deputy Governor of Sancheong County, is conducting an on-site inspection of the water purification plant.
In particular, he visited the Sicheon Water Purification Plant expansion site, which is being promoted as part of the Sicheon water supply area local waterworks expansion project, to check the progress of the construction and the status of safety accident prevention, emphasizing the importance of worker safety management.
Deputy Governor Jeong said, “I hope everyone will do their best to ensure the stable supply of clean tap water.”
Meanwhile, the Sicheon water supply area local waterworks expansion project is being accelerated with a total investment of 10 billion KRW (8.5 billion KRW from provincial funds), aiming for completion in July.
Once the water purification plant expansion (Q=1500t/day, emergency water intake Q=1500t/day) is completed, the water supply area will be expanded not only to Samjang-myeon but also to Sicheon-myeon.
