RaonSecure, a leading company in the security industry, and MonitorLab have joined forces to expand their Zero Trust security business.

IT security and authentication platform company RaonSecure (CEO Lee Soon-hyung, Lee Jeong-ah) announced on the 6th that it signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) for "Zero Trust-based Cloud Security Innovation" with B2B SECaaS specialist MonitorLab (CEO Lee Kwang-hoo) at its headquarters in Yeouido, Seoul on the 5th.

Under this agreement, RaonSecure and MonitorLab will mutually cooperate to implement a Zero Trust security environment optimized for cloud environments, strengthen response capabilities against security threats, and provide customers with safer and more efficient solutions through collaboration in the Zero Trust security market in the future.

Through technical cooperation with MonitorLab, RaonSecure plans to combine its biometric authentication (FIDO)-based multi-factor authentication (MFA) and identity and access management (IAM) security technologies with MonitorLab’s Security Service Edge (SSE) platform to enhance Zero Trust-based access control services. This will enable the implementation of a cloud-optimized Zero Trust security environment where only authenticated users are allowed network access.

Alongside this, RaonSecure is accelerating the strengthening of its cloud-based SaaS security business in line with the acceleration of cloud migration. This year, it plans to offer its biometric authentication-based MFA platform "OnePass" and integrated account access management platform "TouchEn Wiseaccess" as cloud-based SaaS services, effectively implementing a Zero Trust security framework for cloud-centric work environments and providing strong security in hybrid environments through smooth integration with existing on-premises environments.

RaonSecure is also actively expanding its authentication business overseas. In Japan, the subscription-based biometric authentication service "TouchEn OnePass" has surpassed 5.5 million monthly active users (MAU) and continues to grow. Leveraging this success, the company signed a multi-billion won service supply contract with a leading Japanese financial company at the end of last year. This year, the company plans to expand the subscription-based biometric authentication service to regions including the United States as well as Japan.

MonitorLab is the only domestic company possessing SSE-based edge computing technology and provides an integrated cloud-based All-In-One SaaS platform, AIONCLOUD, which offers various solutions such as Zero Trust Network Access (ZTNA), Secure Web Gateway (SWG), Cloud Access Security Broker (CASB), and Remote Browser Isolation (RBI). The company is actively expanding its business not only in Korea but also in global markets including Japan, Indonesia, and Malaysia.

Lee Jeong-ah, CEO of RaonSecure, said, "As digital transformation (DX) accelerates and generative AI-based security solutions emerge, a high level of security measures is required in cloud environments. Through our cooperation with MonitorLab, we plan to implement a more advanced Zero Trust security system in cloud environments and expand our market share in cloud security by continuously advancing technology and collaboration as a leading domestic security and authentication company to meet diverse customer needs."

Lee Kwang-hoo, CEO of MonitorLab, stated, "To implement secure network security based on cloud infrastructure, it is essential to verify all traffic heading to enterprise applications without trusting it and continuously authenticate insiders as well. Through cooperation with RaonSecure, which possesses excellent authentication technology, we will provide customers with a high level of Zero Trust security and work closely to enhance product completeness in the future."
