LS Electric is targeting the global power energy market by partnering with global energy consulting and engineering company Tetra Tech. The plan is to maximize synergy by combining technology and networks in the power equipment market, which is experiencing a boom due to artificial intelligence (AI).

According to LS Electric on the 4th, the two companies signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) for global business cooperation yesterday at LS Yongsan Tower in Yongsan-gu, Seoul. Kim Jong-woo, President of LS Electric, and David George, President of Tetra Tech, attended and discussed cooperation plans in response to changes in the global energy market.

LS Electric and Tetra Tech will strengthen cooperation in the US-centered global power solutions business, AI data centers, and renewable energy sectors, while also jointly pursuing entry into new markets.

Based on LS Electric’s world-class power solutions and business execution capabilities, and leveraging Tetra Tech’s network and recognition in the global power and energy sectors, the two companies expect to proactively propose market-tailored solutions and services.

President Kim Jong-woo said, "With the steep growth expected in power demand, we are growing based on delivery competitiveness through solid production infrastructure and efficient inventory management. Through this agreement, we will fully utilize the strengths of both companies to maintain leadership in the global power market."

It is especially recognized for its leading technology in mission-critical infrastructure such as AI data centers and collaborates with major IT companies in the United States.
