In last year's comprehensive integrity evaluation, Icheon City achieved a comprehensive integrity grade of 2, one level higher than the previous year. At that time, no local government among the 75 cities nationwide achieved a grade 1. The city plans to continue multifaceted efforts to eradicate corruption and promote integrity administration with the goal of achieving grade 1 this year.
To this end, the city will operate an 'Integrity Informant' program and discover and implement various integrity policies such as customized integrity consulting visiting departments, anti-corruption mock training, and promoting one integrity policy per department.
Kim Kyung-hee, Mayor of Icheon City, stated, "This resolution meeting is a starting point to eradicate corruption in the public service and realize transparent and fair administration that citizens can feel. All employees will work together to prepare continuous and differentiated integrity policies."
