The sales volume was secured through additional production from weekday overtime and weekend special shifts at the end of last year, with domestic sales reaching 2,601 units, a 58.1% increase compared to the same month last year.

The Grand Koleos drove domestic sales in January with 2,040 units sold, of which 1,762 units, or 86.4%, were the 'E-Tech Hybrid' model.

The Grand Koleos E-Tech Hybrid offers a best-in-class system output of 245 horsepower and an official combined fuel efficiency of 15.7 km/l (based on Techno trim with 19” tires), and has received high praise from consumers for its excellent quietness, stable driving performance, advanced safety and convenience features provided as standard, and various connectivity services available even for the front passenger seat.

Exports increased by 438.1% compared to the same period last year, with 1,216 units shipped, including 1,078 units of Arkana and 128 units of QM6. Some vehicles for pre-education in regions such as the Middle East and Latin America, where the Grand Koleos is scheduled to be exported starting in the second half of this year, were also included.

Renault Korea suspended operations at the Busan plant for the entire month of January to update facilities for electric vehicle production equipment.

Starting in the second half of this year, to produce electric vehicles such as the Polestar 4 in addition to the existing mixed production line, some equipment such as chassis hangers, which are vehicle moving devices, were replaced, and a sub-line necessary for electric vehicle-specific tasks such as battery installation was added. The Busan plant is scheduled to resume production from the second week of February after a trial operation in the first week.
