Kim Dong-yeon Receives Director-Level Appointment Letter on the 3rd: "Do Your Best in Difficult Times"

On the 3rd, Gyeonggi Province Governor Kim Dong-yeon awarded appointment letters to Heo Seung-beom, Acting Director of the Planning and Coordination Office, Son Im-seong, Director of the Urban Housing Office, Lee Gye-sam, Director of the Balanced Development Planning Office, and Jeong Du-seok, Director of the Economic Office at the Gyeonggi Provincial Government, urging them to "hold the center of Gyeonggi Province."

After the appointment ceremony, Governor Kim said, "The country is facing many difficulties. It will be even harder going forward. At times like this, I hope our public officials firmly hold the center and especially think about how they can make a good contribution. I will start by making an effort myself." He added, "This is a time when things are not normal and we need to properly correct what is wrong. I hope you will think together about the difficult economy and challenging livelihood issues and do your best."

Director Heo Seung-beom has served as Deputy Mayor of Gimpo, Head of the Safety Improvement Division at the Ministry of the Interior and Safety, Director of the Welfare Bureau, and Director of the Economic Office. In particular, he is highly regarded for his understanding of provincial administration and planning work, having held positions such as Planning Officer and Policy Planning Officer.

Director Son Im-seong has held key positions related to urban development, including Urban Policy Officer, Deputy Mayor of Bucheon, and Deputy Mayor of Hwaseong. He is recognized as an urban development expert, having served as Head of New Town Development, Head of Construction Safety, and Head of Urban Policy.

Lee Gye-sam, Director of the Balanced Development Planning Office, who swapped positions with Director Son Im-seong, has served as Head of the Gwanggyo Development Project Group, Head of Urban Planning, Head of the Construction Headquarters, and Director of the Railroad, Port, and Logistics Bureau.

As former Director of the Urban Housing Office, he is an expert who planned and promoted large-scale development in northern Gyeonggi. Moving to the Northern Provincial Office, he will be able to carry out the Northern Gyeonggi Grand Renovation Project with even stronger momentum, bringing revolutionary changes to the lives of residents in northern Gyeonggi.

Jeong Du-seok, Director of the Economic Office and former Planning and Coordination Officer of the Personal Information Protection Commission, has served as Head of the Residents Division at the Ministry of the Interior and Safety and Senior Administrative Officer at the Presidential Secretariat. He is regarded as well-versed in the economic field, having held various positions at the Ministry of the Interior and Safety.
