Gwangju Gwangsan-gu Begins Production of Citizen-Participatory Social Dialogue 'Nokseo'

Gwangsan-gu in Gwangju announced on the 3rd that it has begun the production of the citizen-participatory job creation booklet 'Nokseo' to realize sustainable employment.

'Nokseo', scheduled to be published in March, is a booklet containing various questions and opinions ahead of policy decisions. Once Nokseo is created, it will be used to facilitate social dialogue to find answers to key questions, followed by the production of a white paper equivalent to a sustainable employment policy report, the discovery of pilot projects for sustainable jobs, and the publication of 'Cheongseo', a policy implementation plan.

Previously, starting from the second half of last year, the district held a total of four rounds of 'Simunsidap', a citizen-participatory social dialogue where citizens and workers asked and answered questions about jobs. Through this, questions and discussions were raised on topics such as awareness of job-related issues and labor compensation, covering sectors like manufacturing, public services, private services, and village jobs.

Additionally, the district held traveling 'Sustainable Employment Dialogue Forums' in various neighborhoods, communicating with over 200 residents from 21 districts on the topic of jobs.
