Integrity Level 1 for Four Consecutive Years
Boseong County Aims for Top Grade in Public Institution Integrity Assessment
Boseong County in Jeollanam-do held the "2025 Anti-Corruption and Integrity Commitment Ceremony" on the 3rd at the main conference room of the Boseong County Office, together with three organizations: Boseong County, Boseong County Council, and the Boseong County Public Officials Labor Union.
Over 180 people attended the integrity commitment and pledge ceremony, including Kim Cheolwoo, Governor of Boseong County; Kim Kyungyeol, Chairman of the Boseong County Council; and An Siyoung, Chairman of the Boseong County Public Officials Labor Union.

All participants, including representatives from each organization, recited an integrity pledge that included: ▲eradicating corruption in the public sector ▲prohibiting unjust gains ▲eliminating solicitation and lobbying ▲excluding undue external interference. They also chanted integrity slogans, reaffirming their commitment to practicing integrity as leading institutions.
In particular, at this ceremony, all senior officials?including the governor, council chairman, union chairman, and over 40 department heads and town/village leaders of grade 5 or higher?attended and signed the integrity pledge. The participants pledged to take the lead in eradicating corruption and fostering a transparent and upright public service culture.
Furthermore, each department and town/village will hold its own integrity commitment ceremony for all staff members by the 14th, and through signing the integrity pledge in their work diaries, they plan to further strengthen their determination to uphold integrity as Boseong County officials.
Governor Kim Cheolwoo stated, "All public officials in Boseong County will take the lead in creating a culture of integrity with one heart and mind," adding, "We will always communicate closely with the residents and realize an honest county administration to build a future worthy of Boseong."
Meanwhile, Boseong County achieved the highest grade, "Comprehensive Integrity Level 1," for the third consecutive year in the "2024 Public Institution Comprehensive Integrity Assessment" conducted by the Anti-Corruption and Civil Rights Commission.
