On the 3rd, Mayor Park Nam-seo of Yeongju City will embark on a five-day public welfare tour, visiting 19 eup, myeon, and dong areas of Yeongju City from Munsu-myeon to the 7th.
This public welfare tour was organized for the mayor to directly communicate with local residents, identify regional issues, gather various opinions, and reflect them in city administration.
Park Nam-seo, Mayor of Yeongju City, is explaining the city administration at a meeting in Munsu-myeon.
The tour schedule will proceed in the order of △encouraging eup, myeon, and dong staff △explaining policies and key projects changing in 2025 △sharing major policy directions of Yeongju City.
During the subsequent residents' meeting, opinions on local issues and improvements in eup, myeon, and dong will be heard, and residents' suggestions will be reviewed by relevant departments to prepare practical solutions.
In addition, the mayor plans to visit major institutions, organizations, senior centers, and local daycare centers directly to listen to on-site opinions for improving citizens' living environments and seek improvement measures.
Mayor Park Nam-seo of Yeongju City stated, “The eup, myeon, and dong public welfare tour is an important occasion to create city administration together with citizens. We will listen to residents' opinions directly on-site and actively reflect them to create changes that citizens can feel.”
The eup, myeon, and dong tour schedule is as follows: △3rd Munsu-myeon, Pyeongeun-myeon, Isan-myeon, Jangsu-myeon △4th Hyucheon 1-dong, Hyucheon 2-dong, Hyucheon 3-dong, Gahung 2-dong △5th Anjeong-myeon, Bonghyeon-myeon, Punggi-eup △6th Yeongju 2-dong, Yeongju 1-dong, Gahung 1-dong, Hamang-dong △7th Sunheung-myeon, Dansan-myeon, Buseok-myeon, Sangmang-dong.
Yeongju City is conducting a community welfare visit at the Munsu-myeon Administrative Welfare Center.
