Busan Transportation Corporation, Storytelling Contest Commemorating 40th Anniversary of Urban Railway Opening

Busan Urban Railway Essay and Video Contest Until March 21
Six Winners in Each Category, Total Prize Money of 8.1 Million KRW

Busan Transportation Corporation is holding the "40th Anniversary Storytelling (Essay and Video) Contest" to commemorate the 40th anniversary of the opening of Line 1.

This contest was launched to provide an opportunity to share touching experiences and moments of change directly experienced by citizens related to the Busan Urban Railway and to reflect on its history.

The contest period is 47 days until March 21, and anyone interested in the Busan Urban Railway can participate.

The contest theme is "Precious experiences or special memories related to the Busan Urban Railway, or congratulatory messages for the 40th anniversary," and it is held in two categories: essay and video. Winning entries will be posted on the corporation’s website and social media and may be used for promotional purposes.

Submission formats are as follows: for the essay category, a freely formatted text within 1,500 characters in an hwp file; for the video category, an MP4 or wmv file approximately 1 minute and 30 seconds long.

Entries should be submitted via the dedicated contest email, and no modifications are allowed after submission. Each participant can submit up to three entries per category, but only one winning entry per person will be awarded.

The corporation will select six outstanding works per category through internal and external evaluations from the submissions received by the 21st of next month. The winning works will be posted on the corporation’s website at the end of April, and winners will be notified individually. A total prize of 8.1 million KRW will be awarded. Additionally, 20 participants will be randomly selected to receive small prizes.
