The Protestant organization Save Korea held a national emergency prayer meeting at Busan Station Plaza that afternoon. According to police estimates, about 13,000 people gathered at the event.

People's Power Party lawmakers Park Soo-young and Kim Mi-ae attended and gave speeches opposing the impeachment. Participants waved Taegeukgi and the U.S. flag while shouting slogans such as "Oppose the impeachment of President Yoon Suk-yeol" and "Release the president."

Han-gil Jeon, a Korean history instructor, said, "With patriotism to restore President Yoon to his duties and save the Republic of Korea, one million people gathered at Busan Station Plaza," adding, "Rallies demanding the release of President Yoon, who is unjustly detained due to the illegal investigation and arrest by the Corruption Investigation Office and the illegal warrant issued by the Western District Court, are being held across the country."

Jeon said, "Through the emergency martial law, we have come to realize the reality of biased media coverage that had been hidden until now, and I believe this is an awakening that revealed the mistakes of the Corruption Investigation Office, the Western District Court judges who destroyed the rule of law, fairness, and common sense, as well as the Constitutional Court."
