Two Fishing Boats Grounded on Rocky Shore off Jeju Coast... "10 out of 15 People Rescued So Far"

At around 9:25 a.m. on the 1st, two Aeweol-registered jigging fishing vessels, Vessel A (32t, 7 crew members) and Vessel B (29t, 8 crew members), ran aground near Tokki Island off Gujwa-eup, Jeju City.

The Coast Guard reported that the two vessels ran aground on a rocky shore while fishing about 500 meters from the land.

The Coast Guard dispatched rescue personnel to the scene and has reportedly rescued 10 out of the 15 people on board so far.
