Special Lecture, Presentations, and Cultural Exchange Activities Held
The Department of International Area Studies at Pukyong National University and the Campus Asia AIMS Project Group recently held a 'Joint Seminar and Culture Night' event with Thammasat University in Thailand, the university announced on the 31st.
The event, held on the 17th at Thammasat University in Bangkok, Thailand, was attended by students from the academic clubs 'STAR' and 'YSM' of Pukyong National University's Department of International Area Studies, Professor Moon Ki-hong, and students from Thammasat University. The seminar was conducted under the theme "Trends and Implications of the Labor Market in Globalization."
During the seminar, there was a special lecture by Professor Chol Bunnag, who oversees Thammasat University's SDG Move Program, along with thematic presentations and discussions by students from both universities.
On this day, Pukyong National University students presented on topics such as △ Labor and International Migration △ Urban Planning: Focus on Infrastructure △ Development of the Tourism Industry and Labor Market Trends, while Thammasat University students presented on △ Thai Economy and Korea-Thailand Relations △ Thai Politics and the Role of Thammasat University △ Thai Culture and the Tourism Industry.
Following the joint seminar, a Culture Night event was held where students from both universities experienced traditional games and foods from each country, fostering cultural exchange.
The Department of International Area Studies at Pukyong National University and the Campus Asia AIMS Project Group plan to expand various international exchange programs to enhance students' global competencies, including this event.
