Warm-heartedness continues to help the underprivileged neighbors in Yeongyang-gun until the day the 'Hope 2025 Sharing Campaign' ends, giving the local community a touching inspiration.
On January 31, the Gyeongbuk Yeongdeok National Forest Yeongrimdan Social Cooperative (CEO Kim Jukyung) donated 2 million won to Yeongyang-gun.
CEO Kim Jukyung, as the head of a social enterprise that provides social services to vulnerable groups and creates jobs to improve the quality of life for local residents, has consistently practiced sharing activities with neighbors in the community, such as kimchi-making volunteer work and hosting senior citizen feasts during his tenure as president of Subiae Hyanghoe.
CEO Kim expressed his donation sentiment, saying, “I hope everyone has a warm New Year without any marginalized neighbors, and I will continue to make more efforts to look around and share warm hearts.”
County Governor Oh Dochang said, “Despite the difficult economic situation, the meaningful affection and dedication of the local community are brightening the New Year,” and added, “We will do our best to look after the underprivileged neighbors and ensure that warm hearts reach places in need,” expressing his gratitude.
