5 Million KRW Liability Coverage for Third-Party Compensation
Lotte Insurance announced on the 31st that it has launched the 'Ski Leisure Accident Insurance' product, which covers winter sports accident protection.
This product is designed for customers aged 19 to 59 who enjoy winter sports such as skiing and snowboarding, providing coverage for injuries with a premium of 1,800 KRW regardless of age or gender.
It consists of two plans: the 'Optimal Price Plan,' which carefully covers only injury risks such as fracture diagnosis, surgery costs, and cast treatment fees, and the 'Ultimate Plan,' which covers all risks including traffic accidents from the moment you leave home until you return.
Subscribers to the Ultimate Plan receive up to 30 million KRW for disability diagnosis due to skiing injuries, 500,000 KRW for fracture diagnosis, 300,000 KRW for cast treatment, up to 30 million KRW for traffic accident support payments (including passengers), and up to 30 million KRW for driver fines.
Lotte Insurance has partnered with Mona Yongpyeong Resort to install QR code scanners at the ski slope entrances and ticket booths.
A Lotte Insurance representative said, "This is a mini insurance product for customers who plan to visit ski resorts frequently or feel the need for coverage," adding, "We will continue to launch customized insurance services for our customers."
