Admission Tickets Distributed to the First 50 Visitors Every Wednesday from 3:30 p.m.
Ulsan Library screens Wednesday Movies every Wednesday at 4 p.m. in the library's first-floor comprehensive video room, allowing citizens of all ages to enjoy various cultures.
In particular, in February, a total of four screenings will be held under the theme of "films that inspire hope and courage" for citizens enduring difficult political and social realities.
The screening schedule begins on February 5 with the animated film "Sing," which tells the story of animals achieving their dreams through the support and encouragement of those around them.
On February 12, director Lee Isaac Chung's "Minari" will be screened. As the grandmother says in the film, "Minari grows well anywhere, and it makes anyone healthy, whether rich or poor," it is expected to bloom the flower of hope once again for citizens with the strong vitality of Korean families.
On February 19, the animation "Dream Song," which depicts the courage of Buddy, a dog living in a small countryside village, to achieve his dream, will be screened. On the 26th, "Wonder," which portrays confidence and growth through embracing diversity and family bonds, will be shown, expected to be a film like a warm round of applause for those enduring difficult times.
An official from Ulsan Library said, "We support all citizens who quietly protect their places during these confusing times with films that offer humble but warm hope and courage," adding, "We also hope that after screening the film 'Wonder,' it will be an opportunity to read the original novel 'Wonder' by R.J. Palacio together at the library."
"Wednesday Movies" are free and open to everyone, and admission tickets are distributed on a first-come, first-served basis to 50 people starting at 3:30 p.m. every Wednesday.
