Mayor Kim Du-gyeom and Association President Ra Young-seon to Attend
Donation to Be Used for Promoting Welfare of the Disabled in Ulsan
Ulsan City announced that on the 31st at 3:50 PM, Ra Young-seon, President of the Ulsan Disabled Welfare Service Support Association, will deliver a donation to the Community Chest of Korea at the reception room on the 7th floor of the City Hall main building.
About 10 people, including Mayor Kim Du-gyeom, Jeong Jin-su, President of the Ulsan Disabled Federation, and Yang Ho-young, Secretary General of the Ulsan Community Chest of Korea, will attend the event.
The 10 million KRW donation delivered by Ra Young-seon on this day is planned to be used to promote welfare for the disabled in Ulsan.
President Ra Young-seon said, “Although disabled individuals face physical challenges, I wanted to contribute, even if modestly, to those striving to overcome them by delivering this donation.”
Mayor Kim Du-gyeom expressed his gratitude, saying, “I thank President Ra Young-seon for continuously practicing neighborly love,” and added, “We will strive to spread a culture of sharing that warms our neighbors and to make Ulsan a warm city for all citizens.”
The Ulsan Disabled Welfare Service Support Association, established in 2007, is an organization that provides and supports necessary services for the disabled, including the disabled call taxi project.
Ra Young-seon has served as the president of the Ulsan Disabled Welfare Service Support Association since 2022 and in 2023 also donated 10 million KRW to the Ulsan Community Chest of Korea, practicing neighborly love and spreading a culture of sharing.
