"Election Commission Must Be Transparent"… Ssbookman, Known for 'Kang Joo-eun Impression,' Posted and Deleted Support Message for Jeon Hangil

Sseubokman Shares Jeon Hangil's Video,
Deletes Post Amid Controversy

Voice actor and YouTuber Sseubokman (real name Kim Bomin) deleted a post supporting Korean history instructor Jeon Hangil, who claimed a 'fraudulent election theory,' after the controversy grew.

On the 25th, Sseubokman shared a video titled 'An Appeal to the 2030 Generation and the People' posted by Jeon on his social media service (SNS) with the caption "The National Election Commission must be transparent." He also tagged Jeon's SNS account.


The video features Jeon defending President Yoon Seok-yeol's 'December 3 Emergency Martial Law Incident' and promoting a conspiracy theory about fraudulent elections by the Central Election Commission (CEC). In the 44-minute video, Jeon said, "The people are currently being deceived and manipulated," and added, "I criticized the CEC, but the Democratic Party filed a complaint against me. What connection do the CEC and the Democratic Party have?"


Recently, Jeon has been repeatedly raising conspiracy theories about fraudulent elections by the CEC, arguing that President Yoon's declaration of martial law was intended to correct the CEC's fraudulent elections. The day before, Jeon also attended the 'National Emergency Prayer Meeting' held by the Protestant group Save Korea near the National Assembly Station in Yeongdeungpo-gu, Seoul, where he appeared to support the martial law, stating, "I think the 'Emergency Order' is correct."


Regarding Sseubokman's post supporting Jeon, some criticized him, saying they would "unsubscribe." As the controversy grew, Sseubokman deleted the problematic post and then posted a photo of an apology along with the word "Freedom."


Meanwhile, Sseubokman joined EBS Voice Actor Theater in 2017 as part of the 25th class and has been working as a freelancer and YouTuber since 2019. His YouTube channel has about 300,000 subscribers. Sseubokman gained popularity by portraying characters in dramas such as 'SKY Castle,' 'The World of the Married,' 'Penthouse,' and 'The Glory.' Recently, he became a hot topic for his impersonation of broadcaster Kang Joo-eun's voice.
