Mayor Kim anticipated an increase in temple visitors during the long holiday period and urged the temples to inspect their facilities and make efforts to prevent safety accidents.
He also engaged in conversations with the chief monks and citizens visiting the temples, listening attentively to local and Buddhist community issues on site.
Mayor Kim said, “I will strive to follow the Buddha’s wisdom and the teachings of communication for harmony, work harder for the administration for our citizens, and contribute to the popularization and development of Buddhist culture.”
