The West Sea Regional Coast Guard Headquarters (Chief Lee Myungjun) conducted a commander-led aerial patrol and on-site inspection at the Wido Patrol Station in Buan on the 22nd to prevent maritime accidents during the Lunar New Year holiday. Continuing these efforts, on the 25th, they carried out a safety management inspection of passenger ships in the waters near Shinan.

On this day, the Head of the Safety Management Division of the West Sea Regional Coast Guard Headquarters visited the Amtae Patrol Station in Shinan, focusing on inspecting the safety management of moored vessels and passenger ships at Namgang Pier, and checked key equipment such as coastal rescue boats and the station's emergency response readiness.


Lee Jonguk, Head of the Safety Management Division, stated, "As crowds gather during the holiday season, we will focus our efforts on accident prevention to ensure that citizens can enjoy a safe and peaceful Lunar New Year. We ask for everyone's cooperation in strictly observing safety regulations, including the prohibition of operating vessels under the influence of alcohol."
