Chungnam Province announced on the 25th that Park Jeongju, head of the 10.29 Disaster Victim Support Team at the Ministry of the Interior and Safety, was inaugurated as the 38th Vice Governor for Administrative Affairs on the 24th.

Vice Governor Park graduated from Hongseong High School and Seoul National University, and entered public service through the 2nd Local Civil Service Examination in 1996.

He has served as Director of the Culture, Sports and Tourism Bureau, Director of the Maritime Affairs and Fisheries Bureau, Director of Planning and Coordination, Director of Public Enterprise Policy and Director of Civil Defense at the Ministry of the Interior and Safety, and Head of the 10.29 Disaster Victim Support Team.

Vice Governor Park will visit Seocheon Specialized Market on the 27th to inspect the operation status of the temporary market after the fire, safety facilities, and the progress of reconstruction efforts.
