Gyeonggi Provincial Assembly People Power Party Visits Gyeonggi Fire Headquarters Ahead of Lunar New Year to Offer Encouragement

On the 24th, ahead of the Lunar New Year holiday, the People Power Party of the Gyeonggi Provincial Council visited the Gyeonggi Fire and Disaster Headquarters located in the old Gyeonggi Provincial Council building in Paldal-gu, Suwon, to express gratitude for the dedication and hard work of fire officials.

On that day, the People Power Party of the Provincial Council first visited Haetae Park to pay tribute to fallen firefighters by laying flowers at the firefighter statue. They then toured themed facilities within the headquarters, including the experience center and the historical archive, before thoroughly inspecting disaster safety measures for the Lunar New Year holiday.

Representative Kim Jeong-ho said, "I sincerely thank and support the fire officials who always strive to ensure that residents can live safe and comfortable lives. Especially since this Lunar New Year holiday is longer, please make every effort to prepare thorough safety measures."

He added, "The People Power Party also considers residents' safety as the top priority and will do its best to fulfill its role as the guardians of safety in Gyeonggi Province. We will continue to raise our voices for improving the working conditions and treatment of fire officials who work tirelessly day and night."
