"Congratulations on Yoon's arrest" met with "Are you even human?"
Kim Heung-guk responds to criticism from netizens on YouTube channel
Singer Kim Heung-guk, known as a 'conservative right-wing celebrity,' publicly expressed support for President Yoon Suk-yeol and was caught engaging in heated exchanges with netizens who criticized him.
Recently, Kim Heung-guk argued with netizens in the comment section of his YouTube channel 'Kim Heung-guk Deulidae TV.' When one netizen wrote, "Fear death. The hell you imagine awaits you," Kim Heung-guk responded, "You go to hell." To another comment saying, "Congratulations on Yoon Suk-yeol's arrest," he fired back, "Are you even human?" When someone commented, "Get a grip," he replied, "You get a grip. Don't mess around."
On the other hand, many supported him with comments like "Cool, Kim Heung-guk," "Patriot Kim Heung-guk, prosper," "Always stay healthy and happy," and "I send my respect for your consistent and principled stance." Kim Heung-guk expressed his appreciation by liking these comments.
Earlier, on the 2nd, Kim Heung-guk attended the 'Rally to Prevent the Illegal Arrest of President Yoon' held near the presidential residence in Hannam-dong, Yongsan-gu, Seoul. Taking the stage, he said, "Despite the cold weather, conservatives gathered for President Yoon," and opened with, "I am truly sorry for never having appeared before." He continued, "I am attacked daily on YouTube," lamenting, "'Horangnabi' (Kim Heung-guk's song) is called 'Gye-eomnabi,' and some even call it 'Naerannabi,' making it unbearable."
He added, "I don't know why South Korea has come to this. Is this even a country?" and said, "If we unite just a little more, we can save South Korea." He also stated, "I am a Marine Corps veteran. I was taught that when the country is in trouble and the people are struggling, the Republic of Korea Marine Corps leads the way in defending the nation," and shouted, "I respect and love those who call for legal martial law and nullification of impeachment. You are the owners of South Korea." Finally, he praised President Yoon, saying, "In the past two and a half years, where is a president who has done as well as this person?" On the 20th, when a netizen asked for his opinion on the disturbance at the Seoul Western District Court, Kim Heung-guk replied, "Don't ask me," and said, "Those people were furious. It was a form of self-expression as part of liberal democracy."
