Idus 'Byeoljagga Project' Achieves Monthly Sales Exceeding 10 Million Won for All Participants

All Participating Artists Achieve Approximately 21-Fold Sales Growth on Average Compared to Pre-Project Period

Backpacker announced on the 24th that all participating artists in the first cohort of the ‘Star Artist Project,’ launched on the handmade commerce platform ‘Idus’ to help artists increase their sales, have exceeded the sales target of 10 million KRW.

The Star Artist Project is a program that selects and supports artists with high growth potential through creative work activities but who face difficulties in increasing sales due to a lack of branding and marketing capabilities. Idus’ professional staff provides about a month of support including ▲one-on-one close consulting with a professional product planner ▲artist profile and artwork photography ▲1 million KRW worth of Idus advertising points ▲exclusive planned exhibitions ▲promotion through Idus official SNS channels.

This project involved a total of five artists, including glass artists and jewelry designers, all of whom recorded approximately 21 times sales growth compared to the average of the three months prior to the project. In particular, dessert and bread patissier ‘Breadman’ achieved the target amount in just 11 days and recorded about 132 times sales growth by the end of the project.
