Airport Railroad has prepared special transportation measures to facilitate the travel of airport users during the Lunar New Year holiday.
From the 29th, the day of Lunar New Year, to the 30th, Airport Railroad will operate one additional temporary train each departing from Incheon Airport Terminal 2 Station and Seoul Station for two days, and extend the operation sections of the existing last trains.
The last train departure time from Incheon Airport Terminal 2 Station will be delayed from the existing 11:50 PM to 1:15 AM the next day, and the last train departure time from Seoul Station will be delayed from midnight to 1:05 AM.
The last train departing from Incheon Airport Terminal 2 Station at 11:50 PM will change its final stop from Digital Media City Station to Seoul Station. The train departing from Seoul Station at midnight will also run past Geomam Station, its previous final stop, and continue to Incheon Airport Terminal 2 Station.
On the 27th, which is designated as a temporary holiday, trains will operate according to the weekday timetable.
Park Dae-su, CEO of Airport Railroad, said, "This Lunar New Year holiday is a long holiday of six days including the temporary holiday, and it is expected that the number of airport users will increase significantly not only for returning home but also for overseas travel," adding, "We will strive to ensure passengers can use the trains comfortably by conducting prior inspections and safety management."
