Recently, U.S. President Donald Trump announced the 'Stargate Project,' which involves investing 700 trillion won to establish data centers for building artificial intelligence (AI) infrastructure, drawing significant attention from investors.
KB Asset Management introduced on the 24th that the 'RISE U.S. AI Value Chain TOP3Plus ETF,' launched in July last year, is a product that invests in a total of 15 selected stocks divided into three AI value chain sectors: ▲hardware ▲software ▲services and infrastructure.
Representative stocks in each value chain, such as Nvidia (15.76%), Oracle (14.84%), and Microsoft (13.77%), account for about 44% of the entire portfolio.
The performance is also excellent. The recent 3-month return is 12.37%, and the 6-month return is about 24.41%. With continued investments from individual investors, the net asset value has surpassed 50 billion won.
No Areum, head of the ETF Business Division at KB Asset Management, explained, "The RISE U.S. AI Value Chain TOP3Plus ETF is a product that includes the core companies of the 'Stargate Project' and technology partner companies with the highest weighting." She added, "Considering the long-term growth potential of the AI industry, we recommend steady investment through pension accounts and Individual Savings Accounts (ISA) with a low total expense ratio (annual 0.01%)."
The Stargate Project is a large-scale AI infrastructure construction project where SoftBank provides financial support, OpenAI operates and manages AI technology, and Oracle supplies database and cloud infrastructure. MGX, established by the United Arab Emirates (UAE) government, is responsible for investment, with Microsoft, Nvidia, and ARM participating as key technology partners.
Focusing on building large-scale data centers for AI model training and operation, the investment is expected to expand up to $500 billion (approximately 720 trillion won) over the next four years.
The RISE U.S. AI Value Chain TOP3Plus ETF is a performance dividend product, and past returns do not guarantee future profits; principal loss may occur depending on management results.
