Aiming to Build a Comprehensive Shopping Environment Across Convenience Stores, Home Shopping, and Supermarkets
Expecting Strong Customer Lock-In Effect... Focus on Enhancing Benefits and Upgrading Services
GS Retail announced on the 24th that it will launch the fully revamped ‘GS ALL Membership,’ an integrated membership program. This membership can be used across convenience store GS25, home shopping GS Shop, and supermarket GS The Fresh, with the official launch date set for the 26th of next month.
GS Retail plans to conduct various customer promotions along with the membership renewal to allow more customers to experience the benefits of the new integrated membership. Provided by GS Retail.
With this renewal, the points previously operated by GS Retail will be unified into GS ALL Points. The related point cards and member service names will also be changed to GS ALL. The integrated membership design is based on the ‘Happy Smile’ concept, aiming to convey a warm and friendly image to customers and enhance satisfaction through a consistent identity.
GS Retail plans to maximize the customer ‘lock-in’ effect through this membership integration and establish a comprehensive shopping environment encompassing various distribution channels. Additionally, based on the unified point system, the company will strengthen company-wide events and marketing, and continuously expand various discount benefits and linked services. The existing ‘GS&POINT’ operated by GS Caltex will continue to be available for payment at GS Retail and will support simultaneous payment with GS ALL Points.
Park Jun-hyung, head of the Marketing Planning Team at GS Retail, stated, “The newly introduced GS ALL Membership by GS Retail is an integrated service developed with customer experience as the top priority.” He added, “Through future development of additional programs and expansion of customer benefits, we will strive to encompass not only the approximately 30 million existing members but also new customers, establishing it as the top membership in the distribution industry.”
