Gwanak-gu (Mayor Park Jun-hee), which is emerging as a global startup innovation hub, is recruiting the ‘2025 Gwanak S Valley Startup Space Resident Companies’ to write the history of challenge together.

The district is recruiting a total of 12 resident companies. Nakseong Venture Startup Center and Sillim Venture Startup Center will select 7 and 5 companies respectively, serving as a nest for the growth of early-stage startups.

The district will generously support a ‘customized growth program’ that includes not only office space but also ▲growth support management (business diagnosis, mentoring) ▲investment attraction programs (open innovation, demo day) ▲startup networking ▲promotion support ▲other follow-up support.

In particular, since 2022, the district has achieved results such as winning innovation awards at the International Consumer Electronics Show (CES) and plans to focus on supporting global networking and participation in various international exhibitions.

The recruitment targets are venture companies under the Special Act on the Promotion of Venture Businesses and (pre-)entrepreneurs within 7 years of founding, and in the case of new industry sector companies, applications are accepted up to 10 years since founding.

The recruitment period is from January 24 to February 10, and companies wishing to move in can apply online through the QR code on the promotional poster.

On the 7th, the district participated in CES 2025 held in Las Vegas, USA, with 10 companies from Gwanak S Valley, operating the ‘Gwanak S Valley Pavilion,’ where 4 companies won innovation awards in 5 categories, achieving great success.

Recognized for its excellence as a global startup innovation hub, the district plans to continue promoting Gwanak S Valley 2.0 this year and attract up to 800 outstanding venture startups.

In the second half of the year, the district will establish and fully operate the ‘Gwanak Small and Medium Venture Promotion Agency,’ which will serve as a control tower for venture startups, continuing comprehensive and systematic support for startups.

Mayor Park Jun-hee said, “Gwanak S Valley resident companies have proven their international competitiveness by winning CES innovation awards and have achieved results that lay the groundwork for entering overseas markets. Going forward, Gwanak-gu will support companies with innovative technologies to leap into unicorn companies through Gwanak S Valley at every stage of growth.”
