Gwangju Nam-gu Hyodeok-dong Community Welfare Council Shares Food for Seol Holiday

On the 23rd, the Community Security Council of HyoDeok-dong, Nam-gu, Gwangju held the "Seol Holiday Gift Package Sharing Event." Provided by the Community Security Council of Nam-gu, Gwangju

The Gwangju Nam-gu Community Security Council announced on the 23rd that the Hyodeok-dong Community Security Council held a "Seol Holiday Blessing Package Sharing Event."

The event, held for 100 households in need of care, was organized to help underprivileged neighbors in the community enjoy a more abundant Seol holiday.

During the event, each household received a Seol holiday blessing package worth approximately 40,000 won. The package included a variety of food items (tteokguk rice cakes, hangwa, sagol-gomtang, hangwa, and a total of nine different items).

Members of the Hyodeok-dong Community Security Council personally delivered the packages and exchanged warm greetings with their neighbors.

Jung Deokgeun, Chairperson of the Hyodeok-dong Community Security Council, said, "I hope this event allows our neighbors to spend a warm Seol holiday," and added, "We will continue our efforts to improve welfare in the community."

Yang Misuk, Head of Hyodeok-dong, said, "I am pleased that we can celebrate a warm Seol holiday together with our neighbors," and added, "The administration will also actively support so that all residents of Hyodeok-dong can enjoy a happy holiday."
