Mayor Lee visited Holt Ilsan Nursing Home and Holt Ilsan Welfare Town, facilities for people with disabilities, as well as Sin-ae-won, a child care facility, to check the conditions of the facilities and have a meaningful time listening to the difficulties of on-site workers and the opinions of residents.

Goyang Special City provided 25 million won in consolation money to residents of 30 social welfare living facilities during this Lunar New Year holiday.

Every year, Goyang Special City has delivered consolation money to each facility based on the number of residents and the ratio of beneficiaries, with a total budget of 50 million won to ensure a warm holiday for vulnerable groups.

Mayor Lee said, “Since this Lunar New Year holiday is long, warm attention to marginalized groups around us is more necessary,” adding, “Goyang Special City will strive to ensure that no neighbors are left out and that all citizens can have a warm and happy holiday.”
