NBTC, the No.1 point platform in Korea, is launching its Addison Offerwall Network on a global K-pop platform for the first time.

On the 23rd, NBTC announced that it recently signed a partnership agreement with Mnet Plus, a global K-pop platform operated by CJ ENM (035760), to integrate the Addison Offerwall. Through this partnership, NBTC will be responsible for building and operating the offerwall service on Mnet Plus apps in four countries globally, including Korea, the United States, Taiwan, Thailand, and Indonesia.


The Addison Offerwall is a service that provides app users with certain missions such as watching advertisements and rewards them with platform currencies like points for free. App developers can increase user engagement and generate additional advertising revenue by adopting the offerwall.


Mnet Plus, launched by CJ ENM in 2022, is a global K-pop content service platform where users can enjoy live streaming of Mnet broadcast programs, exclusive content unique to Mnet Plus, fan voting participation, and various interactive content. Recently, it has rapidly grown, surpassing 27 million cumulative subscribers.


NBTC will build an offerwall system on Mnet Plus that allows users to earn ‘Mple Points,’ the platform currency used on Mnet Plus, for free by completing various missions. Mple Points are used to enjoy all K-pop content on Mnet Plus, and their utility is expected to expand as Mnet Plus increases its content offerings.


A company representative stated, “Since K-pop has formed a massive global fandom, the demand for offerwall users is also rich. Through collaboration with Mnet Plus, we aim to provide a better participation experience to K-pop fans worldwide and contribute to platform activation.”


Following its success in the webtoon market, NBTC plans to use this K-pop platform partnership as a foothold to expand into the global cultural content industry. The company expects that with the success of this project, the offerwall ecosystem will further extend into untapped business sectors and expand into related platform fields such as entertainment.
