Law&Company Enhances AI Assistant 'Superlawyer' with Addition of Park Youngsa Legal Content

Accelerating User Experience Enhancement
Through Advanced AI Legal Services

Law&Company, the operator of Rotok, announced on January 23 that it has significantly improved the performance of responses in its artificial intelligence (AI) assistant, Superlawyer, by citing legal book content from Park Youngsa.

Superlawyer utilizes more than 4.92 million case law records owned by Law&Company, as well as an extensive range of legal data, including statutes, decisions, administrative precedents, administrative rules, authoritative interpretations, and other public works, to generate answers. Supporting materials are provided via hyperlinks, and the service has enhanced reliability through features such as a "Fact Checker" to verify data-based responses and an "Appropriateness of Citation Assessment" that uses AI to evaluate the relevance of cited cases and statutes.

Law&Company signed an exclusive contract with Park Youngsa in June last year and has been receiving legal content since then. The newly added data to Superlawyer consists of approximately 610 legal books published by Park Youngsa, totaling 370,000 pages. Users can check detailed information such as the author, book title, publisher, and year of publication for the cited legal books in the responses. A link is provided to preview up to 900 characters of the book's content, and users can copy the previewed content for immediate use in document work.

Law&Company plans to continue expanding its content, aiming to utilize a total of about 800 books and 600,000 pages of Park Youngsa's legal publications for answer generation. In the first half of this year, major commentaries from Park Youngsa, such as the Civil Law Commentary and Criminal Law Commentary, will be incorporated into the paid subscription service "Bigcase Plus." The company is also preparing an "e-book subscription package" using Park Youngsa's legal book content.

Kim Bonhwan, CEO of Law&Company, stated, "We plan to make even greater investments in securing legal data to enhance customer satisfaction," adding, "This year, we will focus more on researching the emerging 'AI agent' technology in the market and take a step forward as a leading legal AI service."
