The National Tax Counseling Association announced that its delinquent tax expiration analysis service, "Gukse24," has achieved external recognition by winning the Excellence Award at the "2024 Kakao Business Best Awards."
The Kakao Business Best Awards is a competition established to discover and encourage successful cases utilizing the Kakao Business platform. This year, 31 companies were selected as award recipients.
Gukse24 is a tax platform that allows users to check delinquent taxes for free and automatically analyzes the expected expiration period within two minutes. It automatically interprets the complex Article 27 of the National Tax Basic Act (Statute of Limitations on National Tax Collection Rights) according to each taxpayer's situation, and provides free legal consultations via chat or phone for applicants.
A Gukse24 representative stated, "Throughout 2024, Gukse24 provided over 110,000 free national tax expiration analysis services and offered free legal consultations, receiving positive feedback from taxpayers. With this award, we will strive even harder in 2025 to protect taxpayers' rights."
Meanwhile, the scope of Gukse24's free consultation services is diverse and includes: requests for tax reassessment, guidance on installment payment systems for delinquent taxes, information on delinquent tax expiration and exemption systems, explanations of tax/collection special provisions, clarification regarding borrowed names, business closure settlement and consulting, corporate dissolution and liquidation, and release of seizures.
