Held at Byeollae-dong Resident Autonomy Center
Namyangju City, Gyeonggi Province (Mayor Joo Gwang-deok) announced on the 22nd that it held the first town, township, and neighborhood chiefs meeting of 2025 at the Byeollae-dong Resident Autonomy Center on the 21st.

This meeting was organized to share the main administrative tasks for 2025 and local issues by region, and to discuss cooperation plans.
The main agenda items included △ the Transportation Bureau's 2025 major project implementation plan △ the performance and future plans of major investment projects in Byeollae-dong and township areas.
The Transportation Bureau reported plans to significantly improve metropolitan accessibility through △ the promotion of the GTX-B line △ the extension of the Byeollae Line (Line 8) △ the Gangdong-Hanam-Namyangju Line (Line 9) projects.
Additionally, they shared public transportation infrastructure expansion projects aimed at resident convenience, such as △ increasing and establishing new bus routes △ improving parking environments △ expanding mobility support for transportation-vulnerable groups.
Following this, the head of the Byeollae Administrative Welfare Center reported on major ongoing projects in Byeollae-dong and township areas, including △ the construction of a complex community center △ the building of a multipurpose performance hall and parking tower △ the establishment of the Byeollae Station transfer center △ and the construction of a senior welfare center.
Mayor Joo Gwang-deok stated, “The town, township, and neighborhood chiefs meeting is an important occasion to promptly resolve local issues and realize administration that residents can feel. I urge the chiefs to thoroughly understand the major projects and current status of their respective areas, actively inform citizens, and carry out their duties while closely communicating with residents.”
