Jinan County Recruiting 10 Members for 'Local Food Consumer Monitoring Group'

Applications accepted until the 7th of next month
Activities from March to October

Jinan County in North Jeolla Province is recruiting members for the 'Jinan Local Food Consumer Monitoring Group' until the 7th of next month to operate Jinan Local Food in a more customer-oriented way.


According to the county on the 22nd, this is the first year the consumer monitoring group is being implemented. Around 10 people each will be recruited for the Jeonju and Jinan branches, and any customer who uses the local food direct stores can participate.

The consumer monitoring group will begin activities in March and continue for about eight months until October. Their roles will include conducting satisfaction surveys related to Jinan Local Food, delivering various consumer opinions, directly experiencing agricultural products shipped to the direct stores to suggest improvements, and promoting Jinan Local Food via social media. Participants will receive local food direct store usage points worth 60,000 KRW per month.


To apply, fill out the application form posted on the county office website's notice/announcement section and submit it in person to the Food Policy Team of the Department of Agricultural and Livestock Distribution, or apply via fax or email.


Kim Namsu, head of the Department of Agricultural and Livestock Distribution, said, "We will actively strive to ensure that more county residents can receive safe food through Jinan Local Food by maintaining continuous communication with consumers."
