National Assembly member Jeong Hee-yong visited Goryeong County Office on the 22nd and held a meeting with the county governor, county council chairman, provincial and county council members, department heads, and local community leaders to commemorate the cumulative donation of 20 million won to the Goryeong County Education Development Fund.
Since 2020, Assemblyman Jeong has continuously donated to the Goryeong County Education Development Fund every quarter, with the total amount reaching 20 million won.
Assemblyman Jeong Hee-yong stated, “As the future of the region lies in education, I am donating to the Education Development Fund with the hope that our youth will grow into talented individuals,” and added, “I will strive for regional development not only in the field of education but also in various other areas.”
Goryeong County Governor Lee Nam-cheol responded, “I deeply thank Assemblyman Jeong Hee-yong for his continuous interest in local students and his efforts to practice sharing for educational development,” and said, “We will do our best to create an educational environment where students can dream of a bright future.”
