Thirty-eight golf courses in Korea will remain open during the Lunar New Year holiday period.

The Korea Golf Course Management Association announced on the 22nd the results of a survey on the opening and closing status of member golf courses nationwide during the three-day Lunar New Year holiday from the 28th to the 30th. Excluding member golf courses that did not respond due to reasons such as winter closure, out of a total of 129 member golf courses, 38 were found to be operating continuously from the 28th to the 30th, including Lunar New Year's Day on the 29th.

Forty-seven member courses are closed only on Lunar New Year's Day, and 43 courses remain closed continuously from the 28th to the 30th. The Korea Golf Course Management Association explained, "Many golf courses are closed for the winter season, and opening and closing schedules may change depending on weather conditions, so it is necessary to check the opening status before use."
