Gwangju Office of Education Assigns 51 Neulbom Support Researchers to Schools This Year

Overseeing Planning, Research, and Coordination for Neulbom Schools
Gwangju Office of Education: "A Total of 82 Researchers to Be Operated by Next Year"

The Gwangju Metropolitan Office of Education has assigned 51 support researchers (50 for elementary schools, 1 for special education) to oversee the Neulbom School operations this year.


According to the Office of Education on the 22nd, Neulbom support researchers serve as the heads of the dedicated Neulbom Support Office within Neulbom Schools. They are responsible for planning, research, and coordination for Neulbom Schools at 150 elementary schools in the Gwangju area, as well as supervising and managing related personnel.


Previously, the Office of Education selected Neulbom support researchers from among current teachers through a professional staff selection process and granted them a two-year term as educational researchers.


In addition, 30 temporary teachers will be hired this year as a one-time measure to support the Neulbom Support Office beyond the regular staffing quota.

The Office of Education plans to assign 31 more support researchers (30 for elementary schools, 1 for special education) by next year, operating a total of 82 full-time and part-time Neulbom support researchers.
