Asan City Expands Support Program for Maternal and Newborn Health Care

Expansion of Eligible Recipients, Application Period, and Voucher Validity

On the 22nd, Asan City in South Chungcheong Province announced that it will expand the Maternal and Newborn Health Care Support Program.

This program provides vouchers for home visits by health care professionals to assist with postpartum care and newborn care.

Starting this year, families with premature babies are also eligible for support. The application period has been extended from 30 days to 60 days, and the voucher validity period has been expanded from 60 days to within 90 days.

Eligible recipients are families with childbirth whose health insurance premium contributions are at or below 150% of the median income.

The support period ranges from 10 to 25 days depending on the type of fetus and birth order.

Applications can be submitted by visiting the city health center or through the Bokjiro website.
