Namyangju City Opens Admissions for 'Green Agriculture University' Freshmen... Applications Accepted Until February 7

Gyeonggi Namyangju City (Mayor Joo Gwang-deok) announced on the 21st that it will recruit new students for the 20th term of the "Namyangju City Green Agriculture University" until the 7th of next month.

This recruitment is conducted for three courses: △Field Crop Department (30 people) △Traditional Fermentation Department (30 people) △Healing Agriculture Facility Operator Department (25 people), and is composed of educational programs aimed at stable agricultural production, inheritance of traditional food culture, and expansion of healing agriculture.

The education will be operated in various ways such as theoretical lectures, practical training, and field trips for 100 to 150 hours per course from March to November.

The Field Crop Department and Traditional Fermentation Department are open to farmers registered as residents in Namyangju City or Namyangju citizens as of the announcement date, while the Healing Agriculture Facility Operator Department is operated for healing farm operators.

Application forms can be obtained directly at the Namyangju City Agricultural Technology Center and local agricultural counseling offices, or downloaded from the Namyangju City Agricultural Technology Center website.

Applications can be submitted by visiting the Education Operation Office on the 2nd floor of the Agricultural Technology Center or by registered mail, with registered mail applications accepted only if they arrive by February 7th.
