According to these comprehensive measures, Yeongdeok-gun plans to organize a total of 150 personnel during the Lunar New Year holiday from the 25th to the 30th, including 60 for comprehensive situation duty, 36 for on-duty work, and 54 for eup/myeon duty, based on 10 situation duty teams, to respond swiftly to emergencies.

The key focus areas of the comprehensive measures include six fields: △ disaster accidents and infectious disease prevention measures △ active resolution of residents' inconveniences △ environmental maintenance measures △ price stabilization measures △ establishment of emergency medical systems △ establishment of public service discipline. Detailed implementation plans will be developed and executed for each field.

Accordingly, Yeongdeok-gun will conduct pre-inspections of facilities vulnerable to disasters and major tourist sites, and strengthen patrols by wildfire monitors to thoroughly prepare for the prevention of safety accidents.

Additionally, the county will ensure thorough inspection and resolution of inconveniences in residents' lives by operating a gas supply inconvenience reporting center, implementing rotational duty for LPG gas supply by service area, minimizing public transportation congestion, and operating special transport task forces for returning residents and tourists.

Furthermore, to stabilize the livelihood economy, a comprehensive price countermeasures situation room will be operated to handle various price-related complaints, receive reports of overcharging, and conduct focused inspections on prices of agricultural, livestock, and marine products.

Other measures include operating a comprehensive water supply countermeasures situation room, establishing waste management plans, focusing support on low-income groups and veterans in welfare blind spots, designating emergency medical facilities, establishing a 24-hour emergency medical system, and operating medical institutions and guardian pharmacies during the holiday period.

County Governor Kim Gwang-yeol stated, “As the Lunar New Year holiday has been extended due to the designation of a temporary holiday, we will do our best to implement the comprehensive holiday measures flawlessly so that residents and returning visitors can have a safe and enjoyable holiday.”

Yeongdeok-gun will designate hospitals and pharmacies open during the Lunar New Year holiday and provide this information through the Yeongdeok-gun website.
