Gwangju Science Center Selected as Career Experience Institution for Educational Donation

Official Certification Valid Through 2027

The National Gwangju Science Museum announced on the 21st that it has been selected as a certified institution for career experience and education donation, supervised by the Ministry of Education.

This system designates institutions that provide high-quality career experience education to the local community through on-site inspections and comprehensive evaluations, focusing on the environment and educational programs of the experience centers.

With this selection as a certified institution, the Gwangju Science Museum will receive various forms of support over the next three years, including the education donation experience institution certification mark, certificate, and a signboard.

The Gwangju Science Museum operates a variety of career programs for youth, including career lectures in specialized fields, biotechnology experiments, advanced career mentoring, and job exploration programs related to new industries in ten fields such as artificial intelligence, aerospace, and forensic science.

Lee Junghwa, senior researcher at the Science Education Office, said, "This is our third certification since we first received it in 2017. We will continue to expand our diverse career experience programs to serve as a stepping stone for nurturing the dreams and hopes of young people."
