The Seoul Community Chest of Korea (Seoul Sarangui Yeolmae) announced on the 21st that Hyundai BNK Steel (President Jeong Il-seon) donated first aid kits to the Seoul Sangnok Orphanage. The first aid kits were produced by the social enterprise Touch for Good, funded by approximately 26 million KRW donated to Seoul Sarangui Yeolmae through Hyundai BNK Steel's upcycling of discarded uniforms.

The first aid kits consist of 18 medical supplies, including thermometers, wound treatments, and premium bandages. Employees personally packed the supplies into pouches made by upcycling uniforms discarded at each business site. In addition to the Sangnok Orphanage, Hyundai BNK Steel plans to deliver a total of 500 first aid kits to child care facilities in Seoul, Changwon, and Gwangju, where its business sites are located, as well as regional children's centers in Dangjin and Songak.

Choi Yoon-jong, Head of Management Division at Hyundai BNK Steel, said, "We hope the first aid kits will help children grow up healthy," adding, "Hyundai BNK Steel will actively carry out eco-friendly social contribution activities such as upcycling discarded uniforms to practice ESG management."

Shin Hye-young, Secretary General of Seoul Sarangui Yeolmae, expressed deep gratitude to Hyundai BNK Steel for practicing sharing through eco-friendly social contribution activities, saying, "We will carefully deliver the donated first aid kits to ensure that children can grow up safely."
