10 Task Forces and Town Situation Teams Organized
Over 200 Public Officials Deployed on Emergency Duty
Sancheong-gun, Gyeongnam announced on the 21st that it will implement a 'Comprehensive Plan for the Lunar New Year Holiday.'
This plan focuses on helping residents spend the Lunar New Year holiday with less financial burden, safety, and comfort, and is composed of four areas: ▲A holiday with abundant shopping baskets ▲A warm and cozy holiday ▲A reliable and safe holiday 24 hours a day ▲A peaceful holiday without any gaps in public services.
In particular, 10 task forces and town and township civil complaint situation teams have been organized, deploying over 200 public officials on emergency duty to ensure the safety of residents. First, to minimize medical service gaps, the emergency room at Sancheong-gun Health and Medical Center will operate 24 hours as usual.
Additionally, the operational status of 30 medical institutions and pharmacies in the region will be posted on the county office website and the emergency medical portal, and notices will be attached to public institutions, medical institutions, and pharmacies for promotion. Until the 16th of next month, a comprehensive price stabilization situation room will be operated to focus on managing 16 key holiday essential items.
Compliance with origin labeling for 663 agricultural and processed products will be inspected and monitored, and a traditional market Onnuri gift certificate refund event will be promoted targeting Sancheong, Deoksan, Danseong markets and surrounding stores.
Along with this, through the San-encheong Shopping Mall special exhibition, San-encheong Masil Market, and Local Food Happiness Market special sales events, Sancheong-gun’s healthy food products will be sold at affordable prices to visitors returning home and consumers nationwide.
To ensure that low-income groups are not left out and can have a warm holiday, consolation goods were also delivered to 720 residents of social welfare facilities and 80 needy households, and welfare checks were conducted for elderly living alone and those requiring care.
Furthermore, to prevent waste accumulation and collection confusion during the holiday period, disposal days will be promoted in advance, and inconvenience to residents will be minimized through stable supply of public services such as gas, electricity, and water and sewage.
County Governor Lee Seung-hwa said, “We will do our best to ensure that visitors returning to their hometowns, tourists visiting attractions, and residents can spend a safe and warm holiday.”
