Syntekabio (CEO Jeong Jong-sun), an AI new drug development specialist company, has recently begun securing substantial revenue through its business model ‘Co-Location’ using ABSC (AI Bio SuperCom Center).
A company representative stated, “We have already signed a one-year usage contract with MoaData starting January 1 of this year, and the service is currently operational. By signing an additional usage contract from February 1, the business is gradually stabilizing.”
As the company had hoped to secure revenue in a short period and serve as a cash cow through the ‘Co-Location’ business, actual revenue is being generated. This contract is expected to be a signal for gaining trust in the business and ensuring stable future revenue.
Syntekabio’s ABSC is an innovative data center designed with a natural convection structure inspired by African termite mounds, which significantly reduces energy consumption and maintains an average annual PUE of 1.13. This allows it to offer services at a more reasonable price compared to other data centers. Recently, it was certified with the highest green data center rating, the Platinum grade, recognizing it as an eco-friendly and highly efficient data center.
MoaData is an AI technology specialist company leading AI-based anomaly detection prediction solutions AIOps and digital healthcare technologies. Previously, services operated and managed in distributed cloud and on-premise environments were expanded with a new data center to build a large-scale private cloud service operation environment, aligning with domestic market expansion and the start of overseas services.
CEO Jeong Jong-sun said, “Along with expanding our AI new drug development platform business, the recent increase in the need and demand for data center services has led us to plan the establishment of a second and third center in the future.” He added, “The Co-Location business is progressing smoothly and will serve not just as a simple leasing business but as a community and sharing platform for AI-based companies.” He also expressed confidence, noting that since ABSC is the only data center located in the Daejeon-Chungcheong region, demand is not a major concern, and it is even possible to lease the entire facility through contracts with a few large companies.”
