"Give Me More Cups" vs "You Need to Order"... Customer Causes Trouble at Cafe After All A story has been reported about a middle-aged man causing a disturbance at a cafe because he was not given an extra cup. JTBC Incident Commander

A story was shared about a customer who caused a scene by spilling coffee and throwing cookies after being refused extra cups at a cafe.

On the 20th, JTBC's Incident Manager introduced this story experienced by cafe owner Mr. A. According to Mr. A, on the 17th, a group of three middle-aged people visited his cafe. They ordered two Americanos and two cookies.

Later, one of the customers requested, "Please give me a cup to share the drink," to Mr. A. Mr. A explained the store policy, saying, "Each person must order one drink. If you need more cups, please order additional drinks." Then, another customer in the group asked again for an extra cup but was refused. He said, "This is the first time I've seen business done like this. It's strange," and returned to his seat.

However, shortly after, the customer who initially requested the cup suddenly caused a disturbance. He raised his voice, saying, "I want to share coffee with my brother! But I can't share it!" and ended up spilling coffee on the floor and throwing cookies.

Mr. A, realizing the damage later, chased after the leaving customer, saying, "Shouldn't you clean this up?" but the customer responded, "Report me. Call the police. Sue me!" and left the store. The rest of the group also did not respond to Mr. A and scattered.

Mr. A told Incident Manager, "Customers can make requests, but I don't think it's right to cause such a scene just because the request is denied," adding, "They didn't apologize, but if they had at least pretended to clean up or apologized belatedly, I would have let it go."

Netizens who read the story reacted with comments such as "I feel embarrassed for them," "Why are people so angry these days?" "I thought this would be a foreign story," "Running a cafe must be really tough," "If you give in once, it never ends," "Adults have no shame," "They could have just ordered one more," "At least clean up before leaving," and "The world is big and there are many difficult customers."
