On the 20th, Dangjin City in Chungnam Province announced that it will implement a comprehensive plan for the Lunar New Year holiday from the 25th to the 30th to ensure the convenience and safety of its citizens.

The city has established an emergency restoration system to prepare for any accidents involving water supply and sewage facilities during the holiday period.

To address waste disposal issues during the holiday, regular collection of household and food waste will take place on the 25th, 27th, and 28th, and an emergency collection team will operate during the remaining days.

Additionally, to provide parking convenience for citizens and visitors during the holiday, all seven public parking lots operated by the city will be open free of charge.

A road inconvenience reporting center and a mobile road repair team will be operated to promptly respond to weather anomalies and damage to road facilities.

Information on hospitals and pharmacies will be provided through the Emergency Medical Information website and the Dangjin City Health Center website.

Furthermore, a comprehensive situation room will be operated in various fields such as environmental pollution, African Swine Fever (ASF), and Avian Influenza (AI) to ensure a comfortable holiday for citizens.

Dangjin Mayor Oh Seonghwan stated, "We must establish thorough measures for the Lunar New Year to minimize inconvenience for citizens," and added, "We will focus administrative efforts during the holiday to ensure everyone can enjoy a comfortable holiday."

Meanwhile, as the 27th has been designated as a temporary holiday, extending the holiday period, Dangjin City plans to assign a total of 308 personnel, including 48 for comprehensive situation duties, 77 for on-duty shifts, and 183 for emergency shifts, to carry out emergency operations from the 25th to the 30th.
