The Seosan City Council in Chungnam held its 301st extraordinary session on the 20th, marking the start of its first session of the year.


This extraordinary session will last for five days, during which the council will review and handle a total of 16 agenda items, including the 2025 business report, 12 ordinance bills, one consent agenda, and one proposal.

The ordinances to be reviewed during the session include: △Partial Amendment Ordinance to the Seosan City Council Official Ordinance (proposed by Lee Kyunghwa), △Partial Amendment Ordinance to the Seosan City Alley-Type Shopping District Designation Ordinance (proposed by Ga Sunsook), △Partial Amendment Ordinance to the Seosan City Sports Promotion Ordinance (proposed by Lee Jeongsu), and △Ordinance on Adaptation and Support for Low-Seniority Public Officials in Seosan City (proposed by Choi Dongmook).


Before the start of the first plenary session, Andongseok delivered a five-minute free speech on ‘Harmony and Communication of the Council,’ while Lee Jeongsu gave a five-minute free speech urging the acceleration of the Green Plaza public parking lot construction project.


In addition, the proposal urging the expansion of compensation and preventive measures for military noise damage in Seosan City, initiated by An Wonki, was adopted.


Following this, there were remarks on the ‘2025 First Occasional Public Property Management Approval’ by An Hyodon and An Wonki, as well as a personal statement by Moon Sugi regarding the earlier five-minute free speech by Lee Jeongsu.


Chairman Jo Dongsik stated, “During this extraordinary session, we will listen to the administration’s overall business plans for the year,” and added, “As this is an important session for planning and preparing for the year ahead, we will meticulously and thoroughly examine whether a solid blueprint for Seosan’s new leap forward in 2025 has been drawn.”
