Three representative tourist destinations in Ulsan, including Taehwagang National Garden, have been selected for the 2025-2026 Korea Tourism 100.

Now in its 7th edition, the ‘Korea Tourism 100’ is selected every two years by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism and the Korea Tourism Organization to promote domestic representative tourist sites and revitalize regional tourism by carefully choosing Korea’s top tourist destinations that both domestic and foreign tourists must visit.


From the existing 100 sites, a preliminary list of 250 candidates is selected through excellent tourist sites, local government recommendations, big data analysis, and expert recommendations, followed by document and on-site evaluations to finalize the top 100.


In Ulsan, three places were selected: Taehwagang National Garden, Daewangam Park, and Yeongnam Alps.

Among them, Daewangam Park has been selected for a total of four times, while Taehwagang National Garden and Yeongnam Alps have each been selected for five consecutive times, reaffirming Ulsan as well as South Korea’s representative tourist attractions.


An official from Ulsan City stated, “With the selection for the Korea Tourism 100 and the stop of the semi-high-speed train at Taehwagang Station, tourism demand in Ulsan is expected to expand,” adding, “Ulsan City will also do its best to attract tourists by preparing various support measures.”
