"Growth Tech... Developing AI Services to Support Growth"

This is the service process of Classting's AI learning plan support solution, ‘AI Learning Path.’ Classting is a startup operating an education and knowledge-sharing platform for companies and schools. On the 17th at Classting headquarters in Gangnam-gu, Seoul, co-CEOs Choi Yujin and Lee Chaerin said, "We use artificial intelligence (AI) to find the content necessary for organizations and members to achieve their goals and nurture each individual's potential."
The Classting service looks like a messenger that only members of a company or school can use. When users have questions related to work, they ask in the chat window, and an AI called ‘AI Dot’ answers. If there is no educational content available on campus or in the company that fits the user's needs, the AI also provides other content partnered with Classting or YouTube videos. During the educational process, the AI interacts with users to help refine their career paths and goals in detail.
Classting’s aim is ‘Growth Tech’ (meaning technology that helps the growth of companies and individuals). CEO Choi said, "Simply put, the goal is to provide services that help talents grow," adding, "Sometimes people confide in the AI about their situations or concerns." When the two first met in 2018, CEO Choi and CEO Lee were graduate and undergraduate students at KAIST, respectively.
CEO Lee explained, "We met without knowing each other, but we both shared concerns about how to unlock people's potential," and added, "We thought the term EdTech, which combines education and technology, did not fully explain what we wanted to do, so we coined the term ‘Growth Tech.’"

After launching ‘AI Learning Path’ in April last year, they expanded into the corporate HR (Human Resources) field with a new solution in September of the same year. It identifies the competencies needed by organization and job type and supports acquiring them. It diagnoses members’ abilities and recommends learning for education.
For example, if a food company needs to assess the competencies of its sales staff, the AI organizes the necessary competencies by considering the ideal talent profiles of each food company and actual cases of highly rated employees in each field. It also categorizes the competency enhancement process step by step. CEO Choi said, "In the past, what and how much one could learn depended on the mentor, but now, through AI services, employee competencies can be standardized and elevated."
This month, they launched ‘Classting Connect,’ a personalized university academic counseling system based on AI. In existing chatbots, whenever new academic regulations were introduced, staff had to manually write related FAQs (Frequently Asked Questions). However, Classting Connect automatically reflects updated information to provide answers, reducing the workload of faculty and staff.
